The 2010 Emerald City Hoedown will once again use the Red Lion 5th Avenue as our host hotel for the weekend. Rates start at just $119 + tax per night for double occupancy. That’s almost 30% off from the 2009 room rate! Even better, you’ll be at the right place for:
- Saturday Workshops
- Saturday’s Line Dance Explosion
- Socials and After-Hours
- Sunday Spotlight Workshop
To take advantage of our room block, call the hotel directly at 206-971-8000 and ask for the “Emerald City Hoedown” rate to make your reservation.
At this time, the room block at the Red Lion has expired and they have reverted to their regular rates for this weekend. For nearby hotels, try visiting Kayak.com and search near “5th Avenue Theater" under Landmarks. As of April 14, several hotels within a couple blocks of the Red Lion listed rates near or even below our rate at the Red Lion.

Getting around Seattle
Downtown Seattle and Capitol Hill can be difficult to navigate in a car, and parking can be a challenge. Consider using the bus system, carpooling, or taking a taxi! The venues are only a few dollars ride away from each other. (Bus routes 2, 10, 11, and 12 go from near the hotel to near the Cuff and the Polish Hall.)
- Parking at the Hotel: The Red Lion Hotel offers parking, with rates starting at $28 per day and $35 overnight. Street and private lot parking may also be available in the area; meters are limited to two hours on Friday and Saturday.
- Parking at the Cuff: The Cuff has a private lot near the bar. Arrive early on Friday evening, as it tends to fill up quickly. There is also street and pay parking in the area.
- Parking at the Century Ballroom: The Century Ballroom does not have dedicated parking. There are limited street parking spots and pay lots in the area.
- Parking at the Polish Home: The Polish Home has a small parking lot, but it will fill up quickly. Be sure to observe parking signs when parking on the street, as the police have no sense of humor and will not hesitate to ticket and/or tow!
